APH at Epcot Meetup Photos!

We met up under the big ball, and started having the best day ever.

KGB Russia decided to give gifts to everyone... Which was completely not CREEPY OR ANYTHING.

Russia's gift for me turned out to be matching "Best Friend" peace sign necklaces... I am thinking mine might be poisoned, but thought better of refusing...

We then began our trek around world showcase!

Closest thing we had to Mexico was Spain. Still, Spain rocked that shit.

Beautiful Norvay! Scandanavians humping a viking.

Yeah the Maelstrom!! We all screamed like bitches at that troll.

So... We didn't have a China. And there's no Russia pavilion, so I decided that if communism is all about sharing, why not share China?

Mulan approves.

And then Russia decided he was sick and done with America.

Aaand back to Italy! It's just not Hetalia without the Axis Powers. (Who all surround America in the World Showcase, by the way.)

We had no France or Seychelles, but KGB Russia looks very sneaky hiding in a French courtyard.

Russia also managed to find probably the only Vodka drink in the park, in France.

I took almost 300 pictures, and I have several videos as well (which aren't up anywhere just yet... but they will be), so if you liked these, I would totally recommend you look through all of them. Loads of Hetalia awesomeness

To everyone who went, I seriously had the best time I've had in the parks in years. You are the best group of cosplayers I've ever gotten to do photoshoots with, and you all look lovely in all the pictures. I will definitely get another one of these together. Possibly with a theme next time... Halloween!Nations? Tourist!Nations? We will see.

Hetalia Day meetup in Orlando!
Definitely not the huge cosplay extravaganza that I've seen around here, but we still definitely had a good time! And good food! (And Hetalia themed Apples to Apples.)

Organized by fluffymaru, we met up at Lake Eola, which was lovely. There was a cute little pagoda that we claimed in the name of food and awesome.

I brought the pineapple upside down cake and corn bread, as those were the two most American things I could think of other than bad beer and burgers.

We played Hetalia themed Apples to Apples, and this one was by far my favorite. (Another favorite was "Easy" to "Slobodon Milosevic")

[Meetup] APH at Disneyworld anyone?

So, 0nightwing0, rmea and I were thinking of having a meetup at Epcot sometime.

Date: ~~December 5th~~ December 6th? I apparently can totally not get the 5th off anymore... Soo... yeah.
Time: 10 am. Park opens at 9am, World Showcase opens at 11. But feel free to come visit later.
Meeting Place: Under the Epcot ball to the left. Should be really easy to find.
Place: Epcot ~~HetaliaLand~~ World Showcase
Stuff to do: ~~Be culturally insensitive with really awesome backgrounds!~~ Take photos, cosplay!, ride the crappy Maelstrom, eat loads of German sausages, etc.

I will leave it up to you all to figure out personal rides, and places to stay the night if needed. The park closes at 9pm, so it won't be super late.

Also: Bring an umbrella and a change of clothes, I'd say. Not sure if it's going to rain, and if it does and your costume is not water friendly, I don't want to see it getting messed up. Also, remember to wear comfy shoes.

The main issue here would, of course, be the hefty admission price to the parks.
Update: I have used all my free passes for the day, so anyone coming will have to get themselves in.

As always, if you're not cosplaying, you are perfectly welcome to come as well (and take pictures!).

Other info: The countries around World Showcase are Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and Canada. So if you cosplay one of those, awesome. We have an England, America and probable ~~Norway~~ surprise country! for it, so if you're one of the others, there are more fun possibilities. Repeat countries are fine, too.

Also, contrary to popular belief, no one will stop you from cosplaying in the parks. I think so long as you don't show up as Mickey Mouse or a Nazi, you'll be fine. No one's cosplaying a Disney character, so there's really no chance of trouble for that. (I have double checked this.)

The big issue with it, as I said above, is that a ticket to get in for one day to one park is about $75. And then there's food, etc.
